Raid Markers
Mechanics
During the fight, 4 players will receive the Gluttonous Miasma debuff
- Run to the correct marker (Star, Circle, Diamond or Triangle) that matches your marker, stack underboss and make sure circles are not overlapping
- The rest of the raid will need to coordinate moving in and out of the affected players’ range so that they can be topped up.
- 2 leech targets are required to keep someone’s health level, 3 to actually heal them.
- Always soak after having miasma!
- While standing in Gluttonous Miasma, a stacking damage increase (Essence Sap) will be applied to players whose health is being leeched.
- This will increase damage taken (but not leech provided) by that player, requiring the raid to rotate through.
- Debuff lasts 20 seconds.
Volatile Ejection marks 4 players and casts projectiles at them. These players must move out to avoid hitting the raid. Taking more than one hit will one-shot you, make sure you’re running further way from the boss if there are two of you to reduce the angle that miasma is coming out from the boss, see below.
Volatile Ejection Example
Tanks
Growing Hunger resets when the boss’s focus changes to another tank, so tanks should taunt as often as possible without making the boss immune. This seems to line up nicely with casts of Overwhelm.
- When not tanking clear some of the Obliterating Rifts.
- move boss just prior to consume to get more distance from him
Healing Notes
Healing sheet
Cooldown sheet
This fight features both significant single-target tank damage along with significant burst raid damage and a fair amount of movement.
The AoE abilities, ordered from most to least damaging, are:
- Expunge
- Consume
- Desolate
- Volatile Ejection
When any of these (particularly the first 3) are happening close together, we’ll want to have CDs planned to cover the raid.
